Cebu Happy World Museum (Miracle Art)

Last February 16 my girlfriend and I celebrated our monthsarry together and we need a place to celebrate and have fun. Fortunately her father gave us a discount coupon of this place and we are curious so we decided to go there.

Cebu Happyworld Museum was located at Brgy. Gabi, Cordova, Cebu. The track going to that place was a bit rough and not so pretty due to road renovation and reconstruction or whatever but it’s worthy. If you don't have a car or a motorbike, you need to ride a tricycle or a pedicab from the crossing near Cordova municipal hall.

The Museum looked like a castle outside and you need leave your shoes behind, you don't need to worry about your shoes. Ha-ha. The entrance is P350 pesos per person, there is also a discount if you're a student or if you have children with you. A camera is a must when visiting this Museum. The painting is in 3D Art and everything was painted for optical illusion purposes. In order to appreciate the art you need to capture it with a camera.

How to go there?

1. Taxi/Cab/Car
This is the easiest way on how to go there. Simply tell that driver that you want to go to Cebu Happyworld Museum, If the driver doesn't know the place, just told him that drive me to Cordova Municipal Hall, the Municipal is located exactly at the crossroad and turn left. Drive straight ahead and you will find a big streamer, The museum can be seen on your left side.

2. Ferry boat.
If you're from Cebu City or Mandaue City or wherever you are and wanted a hustle and traffic free environment you can always try the ferry boat. The fare is only 14 pesos plus 1 peso terminal fee. It takes about 20-25 minutes till you arrive at Opon, Lapu-Lapu City, Ferry Port, located at the back of the Birhen sa Regla Parish Church. During Sunday, there are no Jeepney route on the back of the church, the Jeepney going to Cordova will only pass by in that area during weekdays and Saturday you need to walk a few blocks, where the jeepneys are allowed to pass. Just walk straight down to the public market and you can ask the traffic enforcer or the people where are the jeepneys going to Cordova. Once you already in the jeepney, tell the driver you are going to Cordova Municipal, the fare was about 10 pesos (I'm not sure but less than 15 pesos). When you arrive at the Municipal, you need to ride again a Trisikad or a bike with a sidecar and the tell the driver that you want to go to Cebu Happyworld Museum and they will drive you to that place instantly right in the gate.

3. Commute by Jeepney
Now this is the most challenging part and it takes a long time to travel. Expect heavy traffic! It depends on which part of Cebu you are Located, If you are from Mandaue or from Cebu City, you need to ride a jeepney that the route is going to Opon or Tamiya. And then you need to get off at the place near Menzi. There are many Cordova route jeepnys in there and then follow the second step as mention above.

You will be amaze inside the museum. It’s very clean and the ambience is so relaxing. There are varieties of art categories from classical paintings to dinosaurs, sea creatures, religious, destruction and so much more you will not regret coming into this place.
